Abstract:
A housing for open-end spinning turbines operable at subatmospheric pressure and rotatable selectively in clockwise and counterclockwise direction, which has conduit means through which air is withdrawn from the housing in a direction tangential to the periphery of the spinning turbine but in a direction opposite to the respective direction of rotation of the spinning turbine.
