1517358 Stiffened fabrics STOTZ & CO AG 11 Aug 1975 [14 Aug 1974] 33438/75 Heading B2E A flat fabric element, e.g. a stiffening element for a garment, containing cellulose fibres, is treated to confer dimensional stability, e.g. by treatment with various chemical compounds which may or may not react with the fabric, and then printed in selected areas with cross-linkable substances which are then cross-linked to effect selective stiffening. Many materials suitable for the fabric, the dimensional stabilizers and the cross-linkers are specified.
