Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5223416
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
1417204 Mixing liquids STABILATOR AB 19 Jan 1973 [3 Feb 1972] 2992/73 Heading B1C Apparatus for mixing at least two liquid media in predetermined proportions by volume comprises a separate pump unit for each medium, at least one of the pump units being of variable output, a common power source for driving the pump units and a common drive means for coupling the power source to the double acting piston and cylinder pump units, the drive means comprising a rocker element pivotally connected to the pump units and to the power source, the distance between the rocking axis of the rocker element and the pivotal connection of the rocker element to at least one of the pump units being adjustable, each pump unit comprising a flow regulating valve unit connected to a suction line and a delivery line, the delivery lines from the pump units terminating in a common outlet line controlled by a valve, the pivot connections of the pump units and the power source to the rocker element being arranged so that the torque generated by the power source is balanced, when the valve in the outlet line is closed, by a counter torque generated by the pump units. In an embodiment an input line 28 for a double acting piston-cylinder device 24 is supplied from a pressure source 29 e.g. compressed air via an adjustable pressure regulator 31 and the piston rod thereof is pivotally connected at 6 to an arm fixed to and extending on one side of a shaft 3 mounted for rocking in bearings 2. Two further arms are fixed to and extend on the other side of the shaft 3 and to these are pivotally connected respectively to the piston rod of a double acting piston-cylinder device 21 and the piston rod of a double acting piston-cylinder device 20. The piston rod of cylinder 20 is adjustably mounted on its arm to permit the output of the cylinder to be adjusted. A suction line 15 and a delivery line 16 are provided for cylinder 21 and suction line 11 and delivery line 12 are provided for cylinder 20, the delivery lines being connected to an output line 19. The apparatus may be mounted on a container 14 Fig. 2 of liquid concrete accelerator into which the suction line 11 extends, water being supplied to suction line 15 and compressed air to the line 28. The output line 19 terminates in a nozzle 19a fitted on a hose 51 connected to a device 50 supplying a dry concrete mix transported by compressed air, the hose being directed by an operator. The stroke of the piston in cylinder 20 is adjustable by a screw but it may be remote controlled from the nozzle 19a and the tank 14 and/or the line 14 may be heated. The pivot positions of the piston rods of the devices 8, 9 may be adjustable.
