Abstract:
A pile fabric is knitted on a circular knitting machine by feeding a roving at a variable rate to a carding unit from which the fibres are subsequently transferred to the needles of the machine to be incorporated in a base fabric. The subject matter of this Specification is substantially the same as that described in Specification 1,098,142, but the claims differ.
