Abstract:
The racquet has a frame of glass fibre reinforced multilayered synthetic, and is esp. for tennis. A fibre material, which has different characteristics from the glass fibres during elastic vibrations, is located within the layers in a section of the racquet, extending from the neck to the shaft (11) of the frame. The additional fibres may have graphite fibres, and may be positioned in a synthetic layer, extending parallel to the plane, which contains the racquet stringing; or alternatively, in an area near the outside of the shaft.
