Abstract:
1349233 Spectacles M F WICHERS 14 March 1972 [29 March 1971] 11888/72 Heading G2J Spectacles having a front frame and temples are provided with means 23, 24 engaging the brow of a wearer in use, and have temples which engage the rear portion of the wearers head in use, preferably below the occipital prominence. The means engaging the brow preferably do so above the eyebrows, and may be restricted to immediately above the nose, or, as shown, at spaced postions above the eyes, or be an elongated member which contacts the brow along the majority of the length of the front frame. The temples may be hinged, as shown at 36, or formed in one piece. The lenses may be mounted in a sub-frame Fig. 7, (not shown) hingedly connected to a brow bar carrying the brow-engaging means.
