Abstract:
An optical resolution process for preparation of optically active (+)-cis-, (+)-trans-mixed chrysanthemic acid which comprises resolving a mixture of (+/-)-cis- and (+/-)-trans-chrysanthemic acids by using as a resolution agent an optically active organic amine having the formula, WHEREIN R1 and R2 are individually a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl.
