Abstract:
1412355 Pneumatic suction conveyer SWISS ALUMINIUM Ltd 22 March 1973 [24 March 1972] 13876/73 Heading B8A A pneumatic suction conveyer for loose material comprises a suction head with a downwardly open inlet, a feeder adjacent this inlet and comprising two rotors with means for rotating each rotor about its own axis and means for giving each rotor bodily motion in a path around the suction head, and an elongated auxiliary conveyer adjustable in direction relative to the suction head and having an output end delivering material to the path of the rotors. In the Figure, suction head 2 is fed with material by rotors 6 rotating about shafts 4 and about the suction head. Endless conveyer 7 is adjustably mounted to pivot around joint 30 from a vertical position as shown in ghost to a position in which it lies throughout its length on the surface of the material, and acts to feed material to the rotors.
