1433392 Reciprocating pumps L K B PRODUKTER A B 6 June 1973 [9 June 1972] 27083/73 Heading F1A A pump for transferring measured quantities of liquid samples, e.g. blood or wine, comprises a cylinder 2 or 3 within which a piston with a rod 6 is reciprocated to pump liquid between an inlet 4 and an outlet 5, the cylinder 2 or 3 being removably mounted in a housing 1 having driving means 7 for the piston-rod 6 and digital means 8 for setting the stroke of the piston, volume markings being provided on the cylinder corresponding with the digital means 8, so that cylinders of different capacities with appropriate volume markings may be interchangeably used in the housing 1. The cylinders are supported by brackets 9 and secured by screws 10. Stroke-setting buttons 8 may be replaced by bores into one of which a button is inserted to select the pump stroke.
