Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform probing while observing the probing portion in a system real operating state without performing the insertion and removal of printed boards by the testing prober at the end part and an optical viewing tube having eyepiece part for observction permitting observation near the prober to the other end. CONSTITUTION:First, a mounting table 4 is slided on the axes in the X, Y, Z directions up to the element 8 on the printed board 7 to be probed. Next, a manipulator mechanism 5 is operated to bring a viewing tube 3 right above the terminal to be probed while observing the terminals of the element 8 through the viewing tube eyepiece part 6 provided to the rear end of the viewing tube 3. Next, a prober 1 is gradually lowered to perform probing to the intended terminals. The signals from the prober 1 are sent via the receptacle 10 of the mounting table 4 onto, eg., an oscilloscope, where the signal waveforms are drawin out and observed.
