Abstract:
PURPOSE:To produce a flocculant with excellent flocculation effect at low temp. and good storage stability, basicity of which has been regulated to 60 - 70, by reacting an aq. soln. of Al'Cl'SO4 of molar compsn. Al(Cl)x(SO4)y with a specified amt. of CaCO3 and adding MgO to the prepared soln. with basicity of 55 - 58 at <= 60 deg.C.
