PURPOSE: To stabilize the measurement force of a measure through simple constitution without reference to the position, by moving an elevating and a feeding member united with the measured relatively after the measure is damped by using a screw, spring, etc.
CONSTITUTION: Under the control of a controller 12, a motor 12 is driven to rotate a feed screw shaft 3, thereby lowering a female screw member 4 forming the feeding member which reciprocates freely. The measurer coupled with the elevating and lowering members such as a cylinder 5, gear mechamism 7, etc., through constant springs 6A and 6B in a neutral state is lowered, together with the member 4 in one body to abut on a measurement surface, and consequently damping force is applied to the measure 2. Consequently, the member 4 lowers the elevating and lowering member relatively by a specific extent while compressing the spring 6B until a limit switch 11 is turned off to stop the motor 8 through the controller, thereby applying specific measurement force to the measurer 2. Thus, the meausrement force of the measurer is stabilized through the simple constitution without reference to a measurement position.
