CONSTITUTION: A piece of permanent magnet 2 is buried by pressing it into a card, in the longitudinal insertion or conveyance direction C of the card in front of C to form a read-only area A, and on the same line, an area B consisting of a rewritable magnetic stripe. For example, 2 kinds of said pieces 2 are provided, the wider one expresses code "0", and the narrow one code "1", and these pieces are properly combined in accordance with the encoded data of what is to be recorded, and arranged in a line. The distance between adjacent 2 pieces 2 express data, the wider one expressing "0", the narrower one "1", respectively.
