PURPOSE: To prevent a copying paper from being wrinkled or defective tonor fixing and prolong the life of titled roller by providing a core layer consisting of a cylindrical elastomer and a surface layer consisting of a thin layer of of silicone resin formed on the surface of the core layer by seizuring.

CONSTITUTION: The core layer of a roller consists of cylindrical elastomer and the surface layer 2 consists of a thin layer of silicone resin formed on the surface of the core layer 1 by seizuring. The core layer 1 is molded on a core bar, to be a rotating shaft, and then the surface of the molded core layer is coated with a silicone resin solution. The coated core layer forms a hardened resin film by heating. by said configuration, copying paper is prevented from being wrinkled or defective tonor fixing and the life of the fixing roller is prolonged.
