PURPOSE: To separate/contact a rip automatically against a glass face in accordance to the upper/lower position of the glass, by employing such structure where the rip is separated from the glass face when lifting the door glass while contacting at the top of lift.

CONSTITUTION: An extension 6 is formed integrally with a rip 5 of a weather strip 4 below a hinge 7 while a spring section 8 is formed at the position facing with said extension 6 to provide the force to rotate the rip 5 in the direction separating from a door glass 2. Consequently the compressed spring section 8 will push the extension 6 in the direction reverse from the pressing direction of said pressing member 9 thus to poition the rip 5 in the direction departing from the glass face of the the door glass 2 to prevent the contact with a defogger printed wire 3. In such a manner the rip is automatically separated from the door glass face while contacted against the glass face at the top of lift thus to assure the sealing performance.
