PURPOSE: To miniaturize a gas oven as well as prevent the loss of heat so as to burn fish and meat with good finish by a method in which a hot plate is provided between upper and lower flame burners and upper and lower combustion gases are discharged from discharge hole and groove provided in the deep wall between the upper flame burner and the hot plate.
CONSTITUTION: Combustion gas of an atmospheric pressure type lower burner 4 heats up the downside of a hot plate 6 and then goes to and heats up the upside of the hot plate 6 through small holes 11 and 11', gas sending grooves 8 and 9, and small holes 10 and 10'. Through an electromagnetic valve 21 regulated on the basis of a set temperature, the gas and air are mixed in a mixing chamber 22, and the mixed gas is burned at the upper burner 5 and uniformly directed to the hot plate 6 from the small hole 71 of a baffle plate 7 to heat up the upside of the hot plate 6. The combustion gases of the upper and lower burners 4 and 5 are discharged through an exhaust groove provided in the deep wall (not illustrated) from exhaust holes 12a, 12b,... to the outside.
