PURPOSE: To simplify mechanism and to improve reliability to humidity by forming an electrostatic latent image on a belt, and transferring and fixing a developed toner image simultaneously through pressure rolls.

CONSTITUTION: On the belt 5, the electrostatic latent image 9 is formed by an electrostatic latent image writing electrode 1. This belt 5 moves while sandwiched between the pressure rolls 3 and 3' invariably and the latent image 9 is developed by a developing device 2. The toner image 10 developed and sticking onto the belt 5 is transferred to a recording form 6 and fixed by the pressure rolls 3 and 3'. Then, a cleaning part 4 removes residual toner and paper powder from the belt 5 and a residual charge eliminating part 7 eliminates residual charge for reuse. Thus, transfer efficiency and reliability are improved.
