Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the starting characteristics of a DC motor by inputting as a correction instruction a voltage deviation signal led from the reference motor side to a field control system of a driven side motor when a reference motor is equalized at a speed to a driven side motor. CONSTITUTION:A reference motor 11 and a driven side motor group 11n used for an iron and steel process line are connected in parallel with a Leonard device, thereby equalizing the speeds of the motors. At this time part of the output of a voltage controlling amplifier 17 of a major loop which controls the field 12 of a reference motor 11 by applying an instruction from a voltage setter 15 is inputted as a correction instruction signal to the comparator 18n of the second minor loop which controls the field 12n of a driven side motor 11n by applying the instruction from a speed ratio setter 21. Accordingly, the starting torque of the driven motor 11n can be increased even when the motor 11 is started initially at the starting time, the starting characteristic can be improved, and the aligning speed can be enhanced.
