Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent erosion on a wheel in such a way that the wheel hub part and the wheel hub outer peripheral part of a turbine rotor is covered with thermally spraying material consisting of tungsten carbide and nickel. CONSTITUTION:Thermally spraying material consisting of 80-90wt% of tungsten carbide and 10-20wt% of nickel is spread on the fixed zones of a wheel hub part 2a and of a wheel hub peripheral part 2b. Thus, steam which is stagnated between the wheel hub part 2a, a labyrinth packing 6 and the wheel hub outer peripheral part prevents erosion caused by condensed waterdrops.
