Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a conductive magnetic toner suitable for pressure copying using an ordinary developing system, and to improve fixability, by using a specified kind of resin for a toner binder.
CONSTITUTION: A binder resin contains a copolymer obtd. by polymerizing at least 2 monomers selected from an α,β-unsatd. ethylenic monomers, such as styrene, o-methylstyrene, or p-methylstyrene, and it has 2,000W50,000 number average mol.wt. and 10,000W300,000 weight average mol.wt. A preferable softening point of the toner is 80W170°C.
