Abstract:
PURPOSE:To optionally select ratio of damping force in both directions of reciprocating motion of an object, by arranging a damper plate swung and interlocked to the motion of the object in a case filled with viscous fluid and forming a gap between an outer edge of the damper plate and internal wall of the case in different size from each other in the both swinging directions. CONSTITUTION:If an object 3 is moved in a direction A, a damper plate 5 is swung downward with a rotary supporting part 6 as the supporting point through a transmission bar 4 in accordance with motion of the object 3, adapted to a stopper 8a and stopped in a position the plate 5 is swung to a horizontal state. The plate 5 is interlocked to the motion of the object 3 to continuously rise in a case 1. Then viscous fluid in an upper damper chamber 7a flows in through a small gap Gs to flow into a bottom damper chamber 7b, and damping force is applied to the plate 5 by viscous friction between the viscous fluid and an external edge part of the plate 5 to damp the motion of the object 3. While at movement of the object 3 in a direction B, the plate 5 is adapted to a stopper 8b to form a larger gap GL than the above and obtain less damping force.
