Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable the employment of a multi-layered band having a large dimension in width and thereby to ensure the sufficient durability of a V-belt by a constitution wherein folded parts for positioning are provided at the edges in the width direction of the main body of a block. CONSTITUTION:In a V-belt for transmitting an action which consists of a composite band 12 constituted by superposing a plurality of endless circular bands, and of a number of blocks 11 assembled slidably with the composite band 12 and each having a slope contacting with a pulley at the end, folded parts 11d and 11e are provided in parts of the edges in the width direction of the main body of a bkock 11, and the blocks 11 are lined up sequentially in such a manner that the folded parts of the blocks in front are fitted in dents formed by the folded parts of the blocks in the rear, and then are assembled with the composite band 12.
