PURPOSE: To provide an ink capable of forming a chemical-resistant film and not susceptible to discoloration by plating, prepared by adding a sulfur-contg. compd. and a fluorine-based surfactant to a binder resin.
CONSTITUTION: The ink is prepared by blending 100pts.wt. binder resin (e.g. vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer), about 10W100pts.wt. sulfur-contg. compd. which inhibits the catalytic action of Pd used in a plating treatment (e.g. dixylyl disulfide, thiophenol) and about 10W100pts.wt. fluorine-based surfactant or formulaIor II (where n is 6W12; R is 1W20C alkyl, alkadienyl, alkatrienyl or aromatic group; X is halogen or a residue of a mineral acid) which protects a coating film against attack of an etchant and inhibits attachment of the catalyst. If necessary, a pigment, powdered Teflon, etc. may be added.
