PURPOSE: To obtain a shape free from surface stain, generation of soft spot at the time of anodic oxidation in case of Al, defect in shape and at the same time perform surface treatment by extruding a shape upward from an extruding machine, cutting the shape and forming protective film on the cut surface.
CONSTITUTION: A shape 2 of desired shape is extruded upward from an extruding machine 1. At the same time, the tip of the shape 2 is held by a puller 3, and the puller 3 is moved upward at a speed a little greater than extrusion speed. After extruding specified length, the upper end of the shape 2 is attached to a hanger 6 suspended from a conveyor 5, and lower part of the shape 2 is cut by a cutter 4 at specified length. The shape 2 hung on the hanger 6 is carried with movement of the conveyor 5 and electrolyte (sulfuric acid) is sprayed applying current to form an anodic oxidation film on the surface in a protective film forming chamber A. The shape 2 is then finish coated and finish worked.
