PURPOSE: To prevent a control circuit from taking in an erroneous information by a method wherein the system is operated in the sequence of a card detecting key, a select key and an automatic take-in key, when a card holder loaded with a punch card is pushed.
CONSTITUTION: A select key group 2, for selectively setting a heating time or a heating temperature by selectively setting a single or a plurality of functions among a plurality of heating functions, and a switch set 5, consisting of a switch group cooperating with said key group 2, are provided so that the switch set 5 is operated properly by the punch card 1 loaded within the card holder 3. In such a food heating system, the switch set 5 is provided with the automatic take-in keys 2-S1, 2-S2, cooperating upon pushing operation of the holder 3 to take in the information of the card 1 into the control circuit, and keys 2-C1, 2- C2 for detecting the card, and they are operated in the sequence of the card detecting key, the select key and the automatic take-in key.
