Title:
LICENSED LAMP MOUNTING STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58185335
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent any deviation of radiation angle caused by the displacement of a licensed lamp when a bumper is deformed by shock by supporting the mounting section of the bumper facia on which the licensed lamp is mounted using a bracket that is fixed to a car body.

CONSTITUTION: A licensed lamp 3 is fit in the lamp mounting hole 2a of a bumper facia 2 and the lamp mounting hole 20b of a bracket 20 that is fixed on the rear panel 5 through a clip 13. In such a structure, when an impact force is applied to the bumper 2, the lamp 3 mounting section supported by the bracket 20 with high rigidity does not generate any deformation, but the section (l) of the bumper 3 behind the bracket 20 generates deformation because of its low ridigity and absorbs the impact force.
