Title:
HEAT-RESPONSIVE VALVE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58187670
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To omit wiring and to save electric power, by an orifice using a spherical surface of a heat-responsive plate in a valve to open or close an orifice and to open or close an electric circuit. CONSTITUTION:When an evaporator 4 is at high temperatures, a heat-responsive plate 12 is in the inactive state and is projected upward, two pairs of electrical contacts 16, 14 and 17, 15 are in contact with each other respectively so that a compressor 1 is operated, and a refrigerant flows via an inlet pipe 10, a cavity A' in the heat-responsive plate 7, and the orifice 13 to an outlet pipe 11. When the temperature of the evaporator 4 becomes a set temperature or below, the heat-sensitive plate 12 is reversed to project downward, the two pairs of the electrical contacts 16, 14 and 17, 15 are opened respectively to stop the compressor 1. At the same time, the downward projected spherical surface of the heat-responsive plate 12 abuts on the orifice 13, and both ends of the heat- responsive plate 12 abut on the undersurface of the cover 9. Accordingly, the refrigerant entered from the inlet pipe 10 is stopped in the space A.
