PURPOSE: To obtain a sharp imag with high dissolution, by a method wherein circular dots are printed by using a water base ink on a recording material comprising a highly water-absorbing resin impregnated in a base, so that the ink is absorbed extremely raidl and the dots are hardly blurred.
CONSTITUTION: By using a water base ink (preferabl containing 1W20wt% of a water-soluble dye as a colorant, 10W90wt% of water as a solvent, glycerin, etc.), an objective recording is conducted on the recording material comprising (B) a highly water-absorbing resin (preferably, an electrolyte polymer having ionic groups such as cations and anions in a molecular structure. e.g., a product of a reaction of a copolymer of vinyl acetate and methyl acrylate with ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether) impregnated in (A) the base (e.g., pulp paper). The recording material is produced by adding preferably 5W100pts.wt. of component B to 100pts.wt. of component A.
