Title:
ORIGINAL FEEDING ROLLER FOR COPYING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5825667
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the transfer of the pencil powder on an original written with a pencil onto a driven roller, the contamination in the white part of the original and the formation of a blurred copy by forming the driven roller of aluminum having an anodized surface.

CONSTITUTION: If a driven roller 2 is formed of aluminum having an anodized surface, said roller is less contaminated as compared to conventional rollers of polyurethane foam. This invention relates to an original feeding roller of a copying machine constituted of a driven roller 2 in contact with the surface of an original and a driving roller 1 facing said roller 2, wherein the roller 2 is formed of aluminum having an anodized surface, and here the pressure for sandwiching the original between both rollers is given by the use of a spring or the like to the extent that the roller 1 does not deform in the contact part. Thus, the contamination of the driven roller is decreased and always sharp copies are obtained.
