Title:
CONNECTED BODY OF STEEL-MADE FLYWHEEL AND CRANKSHAFT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5830517
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To contrive to reduce the weight of a flywheel-crankshaft assembly and to mass-produce the SAME, by a method wherein a cylindrical part provided at the central part of a hollow flywheel made of two steel plate and a cylindrical part provided at one end of a crankshaft made from a steel plate are abutted to each other, and are connected with each other by fitting a cylindrical connecting member. CONSTITUTION:A main body part 8 of the flywheel 4 is comprised of an outer plate part 10 having a larger diameter and an inner plate part 12 having a smaller diameter. A large-diameter cylindrical part 21 to be engaged with a bisected sealing member 20 and a small-diameter cylindrical part 22 to constitute a part of a journal part are projected from a central part of the outer plate part 10. On the other hand, the crankshaft 6 formed by the steel plates consists of a journal part 30, a crank pin part 32, an arm part 34 in the form of a large circular disk and an arm part 35 in the form of a small circular disk. The flywheel 4 and the crankshaft 6 are connected to each other by abutting the cylindrical part 42 constituting the journal part 30 and the small-diametered cylindrical part 22 to each other and welding a closed-end cylindrical body 44 on the inside of the abutted body of the cylindrical parts 42, 22.
