Abstract:
PURPOSE:To inspect adequently corrections of a document by simplifying an error detecting mechanism for document data while transferring information entered in a reentry field to a desired position in case of corrections of document data. CONSTITUTION:Data on stacked document 1 are read by OCR2, the read data are stored on floppy disk 4 by way of controller 3, and the stored data are sent to a host system such as CPU7 at need. Then, errors of the data stored on disk 4 are displayed on display 5 and an operator, while observing them, let inspecting arithmetic 32 perform arithmetic by operating keyboard 6 to give the number of a reentry field to a line and field counter provided to display data allocation control 31 and also to send new information to a cancellation field decision. When the data are corrected, information entered in the reentry field is transferred to a desired position and displayed on display 5, and it is further transmitted to CPU7 to make inspection operation adequate.
