Abstract:
This safety ski binding comprises a sole plate (10) movable in a horizontal plane and secured to the ski in a non-detachable way. At the extremity situated on the heel side of the sole plate (10) is provided a heel support which is movable in a vertical plane and comprises a first locking element (26) engaging a surface (28) of a spring click arranged on the sole plate. On the sole plate is arranged a second locking element (38, 42) which is actuated by a separated spring (40) and engages a surface bound to the ski. Due to the motion of the sole plate in a horizontal plane, the second locking element releases the click, therefore its biasing force is suppressed and the heel support releases the ski shoe.
