PURPOSE: To display clearly both the R/W state and the waiting state with the end of the ready setting for a floppy disk drive, by using a pilot lamp incorporating a green LED and a red LED and at the same time making use of a composite color of both green and red LEDs.
CONSTITUTION: Both device selection signal SDS and head loading signal SHL are fed to an LSI106. Then the output Q of an FF105 and the head loading drive signal SHLD of the LSI106 are supplied. Thus red LEDs 226a, 226b and 226c are connected to +24V via an OR gate 107 and an inverter 108. On the other hand, an AND gate 109 uses the output Q and the ready setting signal SRS of the LSI106 to an input. Then green LEDs 225a, 225b and 225c are connected to +24V via an inverter 110. Thus the signal SRS of the corresponding device is supplied from an NAND111.
