Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of a DC/DC converter by commonly using a transistor of a series stabilizer for stabilizing smoothing output voltage as the rectifying means of a rectifier, thereby reducing the voltage loss. CONSTITUTION:An AC voltage presented at a secondary side coils W21 is rectified by a rectifier which includes a diode D2, the output of the rectifier is smoothed by a smoothing circuit which includes a reactance L1 and a condenser C1, and the smoothed output voltage is stabilized by a series stabilizer. This stabilizer has a transistor Tr1, resistors R1, R2, R3 and a control circuit 13. The circuit 13 controls the emitter-collector voltage VOE of the transistor TR1 in response to the displacement from a reference voltage. The transistor TR1 perform rectification together with the diode D2.
