EXAMPLE: H-Gly-Gly-Glu-OH.
USE: A preventive or remedy for hyperlipipemia having enhancing action on riboprotein ripase activity.
PROCESS: Every amino acid or lower peptide is condensed and constituted in the order of amino acids shown by the formula, and the functional group-protecting groups of the side chains are eliminated at the final stage of the condensation reactions, to give peptide shown by the formula. Carbodiimide method, azido method, activated method, anhydride method, etc. may be cited as the condensation method, a method not causing racemization in every stage of the condensation or a method to minimize the racemization is used, and synthesis is advantageously carried out from the C-terminal group in the order of the condensation.
