PURPOSE: To necessitate no short-ring and no electromagnetic shield, and to reduce leakage flux at a transformer when cores of E-type and I-type laminated respectively are to be joined to form a laminated core by a method wherein the ratio of breadth of a central magnetic leg to respective breadth of both outside magnetic legs and a common magnetic leg of the E-type core and moreover to breadth of the I-type core is made as 2:1.1W1.2, and a coil is wound on the central magnetic leg.
CONSTITUTION: An I-type laminated core is made to come in contact to be adhered with the protruding end faces of the central magnetic leg 1a and both the outside magnetic legs 1b, 1c of an E-type laminated core 1 having the central magnetic leg 1a, both the outside magnetic legs 1b, 1c and the common magnetic leg 1d to form the laminated core of the transformer. At this constitution, when breadth of the central magnetic leg 1a is designated as A, breadth of both the outside magnetic legs 1b, 1c and the common magnetic leg 1d, and moreover breadth of the I-type core is designated as B, and moreover breadth of windows 1e, 1f between the magnetic legs 1a and 1b, 1c is also made as B, the ratio of A to B thereof is prescribed as 2:1.1W1.2. When the coil is wound around the central magnetic leg 1a deciding size of the respective parts of core like this, reduction of leakage flux can be attained without necessitating an addition product.
