PURPOSE: To obtain the titled packing material having a nice outward appearance and a high degree of protectiveness by a method wherein a composite film including a barrier resin layer, a particular copolymerized polyamide resin layer molded at a specific temperature and a sealing resin layer is used for producing the packing material so that when an article is packed with the packing material, the ceiling surface of the material covering the article is prevented from becoming wrinkled.
CONSTITUTION: In case where the deeply drawn packing material is produced from the composite film consisting of a combination of the barrier resin layer 6 (A) (e.g., a saponified copolymer of ethylene-vinyl acetate), the copolymerized polyamide resin layer 7 (B) of 66 nylon - 6 nylon of a copolymerization ratio of 10W20% and the sealing resin (e.g., a copolymerized resin of ethylene-vinyl acetate) layer 8 (C) with the additional bonding layers Ad interposed among the above mentioned layers, the composite film is molded in such temperature conditions that the temperature at the component layr B is formed is made to come close to the temperature zone at which the component layers A and C are formed and the molded composite film is deeply drawn to thereby obtain the target packing material.
