PURPOSE: To restore the adhesive power of metallic powder in blasting the metallic powder to the work at an ordinary temp. and sticking the same mechanically by pressing and rubbing the metallic powder recovered after the blasting by means of hard working media.
CONSTITUTION: The work is charged into a tumbler 5 and a cabinet 3 is tightly closed. When the tumbler 5 is rotated with a motor 4 and air is fed to a nozzle 6 through an air piping 17, metallic powder ascends along the pipe 15 and is mixed with the air in the nozzle 6. The mixture is blasted toward the work. Part of the metallic powder sticks to the work and the rest falls into a regenerating vessel 10 through an adapter 9 of a recovering and regenerating device 8. In the vessel 10, hard working media 11 such as steel balls or ceramics balls are beforehand contained in the vessel 10, and the metallic powder is pressed and rubbed by excitation of an oscillator 12, whereby the metallic powder is falttened and cracked. Such metallic powder is fed through a stainer 13 to a preliminary chamber 14. The metallic powder restoring adhesive power in the chamber 14 is circulated to the nozzle 6 through the pipe 15.
