Abstract:
PURPOSE:To deflect the annular flow coming out of a blow-off port in wide angles by installing an annular blow-off port formed of two thin nozzles and also installing a curved guide wall down-stream from those nozzles and controlling the adhesion effect by the control plates installed at the annular blow-off port. CONSTITUTION:When a control shaft 14 is shifted upward, the stream A which flows into a cylindrical feeding chamber 3 is divided into the outside flow B and the inside flow C by controlling plates 11a-11d. Though the outside flow B tends to be directed inwardly by the back pressure effect in a range F, in the feeding chamber 3, said flow is attached onto a guide wall 7, as control plates are titled outwardly. On the other hand, the flow C is directed outwardly by the back pressure effect in a range C, in the feeding chamber 3. At this time, as the control plates are titled outwardly, outward deflection of the flow C is not obstructed markedly. Accordingly, the combined flow D forms a deflected flow in spread form.
