Title:
TEMPERATURE REGULATING VALVE DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS588873
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent fluid from drastic change of temperature by disposing in parallel a large diameter temperature regulating valve provided on the intake side with a temperature sensor and a small diameter temperature regulating valve provided on the exhaust side with a temperature sensor. CONSTITUTION:When temperature of cooling liquid rises, a push rod 32a of a temperature sensor 32 pushes up a valve body 28 of a small diameter valve so that the cooling liquid begins to flow between a valve seat 16a and the valve body 28 from the underside to the upside of a partition 10, i.e. from the engine side to the radiator side. Then, since a temperature sensor 22 in a large diameter valve is in the upside of a valve body 16, i.e. in the radiator side, and thus temperature around the temperature sensor 22 is lower than that at the engine side and the operation setting temperature is higher than that of a temperature sensor 32, the sensor 22 is not operated and the valve body 16 is left in contact with a valve seat 14. The temperature of the cooling liquid is regulated only by the movement of the valve body 28 of the small diameter valve.
