PURPOSE: To manufacture the fitting stand with high accuracy and good productivity in a shorter time than conventional manufactures, by providing a cylinder fitting through-hole for a chassis and die-casting the cylinder fitting stand incorporatedly with the through-hole with Al, in the manufacture of the cylinder fitting stand of a VTR.

CONSTITUTION: A lot of component fitting holes 1a, a cylinder fitting through- hole 1b and a notch 1c for gate next to the through-hole 1b are pressed to an aluminum plate at the same time to form a chassis 1. Die-casting of a cylinder fitting stand 2 is done for the chassis 1 with a cylinder fitting stand forming metal mold by pouring molten Al, the notch 1c is closed, the Al projections left at the aluminum pouring inlet at the chassis end are cut off with a press after molding, a tool is inserted to a part of the fitting hole 1a to position the chassis 1 and the cylinder fitting part formed on the upper surface of the stand 1 is polished. Thus, the cylinder fitting stand with high accuracy can be obtained with better productivity than conventional methods.
