PURPOSE: To manufacture an oblique welded wire netting continuously, automatically, rapidly and at low cost by dropping transverse wires intermittently to intersect obliquely at a specified angle with longitudinal wires fed continuously after straightening and welding the intersected points of longitudinal wires and transverse wires.
CONSTITUTION: A longitudinal wire fed from a steel material coil stand is straightened by a straightening die 3 which is rotated at high speed by a motor 2, and many of such wires are fed in parallel intermittently to welding position by a ball type chuck 35 for pulling out on a pulling out table 18 and a fixed side ball type chuck 36. On the other hand, straightened transverse wires of specified length are dropped intermittently on the longitudinal wires at specified angles of 90W100° or 80W90° to the longitudinal wires. Intersections of above-mentioned longitudinal wires and transverse wires are welded by a multiple-electrode electric resistance welding machine 4 to form an oblique welded wire netting, and cut by a sheet net cutter 23 in conformably to the intersecting angle of the transverse wires.
