Abstract:
PURPOSE: To select a desired map pattern easily by reading map number in- formation recorded on a microfilm in the form of a bar code through a photosensor, and retrieving a map.
CONSTITUTION: A microfilm is loaded in a film cassette 5 in such a way that it is wound and unwound freely, and a map pattern and a bar code are enlarged and projected on a projection screen 6 by a projector 4. Namely, the map pattern is projected on a map projection part 6-1 and the bar code is projected on a bar code projection part 6-2. Then, a photosensor 7 for reading map number information optically is provided at the center position of the bar code projection part 6-2.
