PURPOSE: To provide a gas feeding apparatus which is designed to be capable of using different types of gas without changing the gas nozzle, by providing a second governor having a pressure controlling mechanism which is capable of keeping a setting secondary pressure constant irrespective of change in the pressure at the outlet of a first governor and also varying the setting secondary pressure.

CONSTITUTION: A first governor 11 keeps the pressure on the side of an outlet 17 constant independently of the pressure on the side of an inlet 16 according to the force of a pressure setting spring 21 in the manner well known in the prior art. On the other hand, a second governor 12 includes a second valve seat 25 and a second valve body 26 disposed between a gas chamber 23 communicated with the outlet 17 and a gas chamber 24 communicated with a gas injection port 13, a second diaphragm 27 moved together with the second valve body 26 by the pressure in the gas chamber 24, a pressure control spring 28 and a second vent 29. At an upper portion of the second governor 12, a pressure control shaft 33 is disposed in a freely rotatable manner by means of a bearing 34, and a pin 31 is positioned by pressure control grooves 36 formed in an outer case 35 to correspond to various types of gas. In the drawing, a numeral 37 represents a cap having a control hole 38. In changing the type of gas to be used, adjustment is made by inserting, for instantce, a tool like a driver into the control hole 38. That is, in case of using a high calorie gas like LPG, the setting secondary pressure is made low, while in case of using a low calorie gas like city gas, the setting secondary pressure is made high.
