Abstract:
A method for recovering heat from a gas containing molten components by bringing it into contact with heat transfer surfaces of a heat exchanger, where upstream of the heat exchanger 2 the temperature of the gas is dropped below the eutectic temperature range by mixing in the gas solid, recirculated particles that have been cooled in the heat exchanger and separated from the gas, and possibly also other particles, e.g. sand.
