Title:
STARTING FIRING CONTROLLER OF THYRISTOR MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6026493
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable to determine the optimum starting firing phase by observing the field ripple voltage presented at a terminal of a synchronous motor and discriminating the starting position of a rotor. CONSTITUTION:An armature winding terminal voltage of a synchronous motor 3 is detected by a voltage detector 15, and the magnitude of a ripple voltage generated by the third converter 14 for a field winding presented at the armature winding terminal of the motor 3 is detected by a field ripple voltage amplitude detector 16. This ripple voltage waveform is discriminated by a field ripple voltage waveform discriminator 17. A start firing phase discriminator 18 discriminates the position of a rotor of the motor 3 on the basis of the outputs of the detector 16 and the discriminator 17, thereby deciding the initial firing phase.
