Abstract:

PURPOSE:To provide a vibro-isolating function for rocking motion in every direction and also to enable a device to be easily fixed, by providing a cylindrical stopper, to the periphery of which a yielding member is mounted, between the bracket in an equipment side and the bracket in a mounting bed side and enable this stopper to be fixed to said both brackets. CONSTITUTION:An engine main unit 1 is supported by inserting a vibro-isolating rubber 5 baked to upper and lower metal fixtures 8, 11 between a bracket 2 and a base 4 mounted to an engine bed 3, in the case of an internal-combustion engine used for a main engine in a ship. Then a stopper 7, to the periphery of which a yielding rubber 6 is attached by baking, is fixed to the bracket 2 by a threaded part 3 and a nut 9 under a condition such that a clearance (s) in the vertical direction while a clearance (r) in the radial direction are provided in a cylindrical space which forms its end by an internal side of the metal fixture 8 and the base 4. While a screw 12 of a fixing bolt 10 is turned till the upper part of a flange 10a is closely attached to a bottom part of the stopper 7, and a fixing nut 13 is screwed from the upper of the bolt 10, thus a side of the engine 1 can be easily fixed to a side of the engine bed 3 by retaining the stopper 7 in its upper and bottom parts.
