Abstract:
The shuttle (S) is designed asymmetrically in the rear cross-section. The outer contour in the rear region (II-IV) is rounded to a greater extent on the side located opposite the thread hole (F) than on the same side as the thread hole. This makes it easier for the needle thread (nf) to slide off when the loop is pulled tight during the passage of the shuttle.
