Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance the piezoelectric modulus and pyroelectric coefficient by a method wherein the interval between a heating part and positioning roll or the temperature within the heating part is appropriately adjusted to control a necking position, and immediately after necking the polarization is performed by corona discharge. CONSTITUTION:The temperature of the heating part 4 is set at 80 deg.C, and the speed of a wind-up roll is set for the passage of a polyvinylidene fluoride film 7 through the heating part 4 in approx. 10min. When the interval W between the heating part 4 and positioning roll 5 is set at 20cm, the necking position is set 25cm off the positioning roll. On the both surfaces of a film obtained by polarization with the voltage impressed on an extended film in a corona house 2, Al and Ni are evaporated to provide an electrode. Thus, the productivity of a film with high piezoelectric and pyroelectric characteristics can be enhanced.
