Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make possible supplementing without mixing the coins after closing even if thereis a demand for supplementing of change during closing operation by providing a coin supplementing unit above a collecting containing unit and connecting both and a transport device by means of a second chute. CONSTITUTION:To perform closing operation, a supply belt 10 is run backward by operating a closing switch to recover the coins having been contained in a collective containing unit 9 into a recovery box 8. At the same time a coin supplementing unit 16 is controlled to run forward, by which the coins having been stored therein and the coins in a supplementing box 19 are recovered into the box 8 through the unit 9. When the coins in the unit 16 run out, its forward running control stops and the distributing plate 22 of a distributing chute 18 is changed over directly to a path 20, then the whole coins of the unit 16 are recovered and the supplementing box 19 is replaced with new one, and this completes the closing operation. Only the coins before the closing are recovered in the box 8 and only the coins after the closing are supplemented into respective change hoppers 2, thus mixing of the coins before and after the closing at the time of recovery operation may be obviated.
